Academics Overview

The FVD program offers lecture courses, seminars, and hands-on production courses as well as opportunities to do individual projects or internships for course credit with permission of an FVD faculty member.  Undergraduate students enrolled at Duke University may obtain the FVD Certificate  in conjunction with their major and their minor or other certificate by signing up in the Registrar's office.

FVD courses are taught either by faculty associated with other departments or centers at Duke, or adjunct instructors who specialize in film/video/digital technologies. The program offers FVD Studies courses and Production courses.
