Duke in L.A. For Participants

Consult this page for information if you have been accepted into the program and check the FAQ page. Your best source for general information is the Duke in LA Blog maintained by DULA Faculty Director, Jim Thompson. In the blog and this page together, you will find useful links and important information about course registration, field trips, assignments, transportation and parking, and housing options. For the U.S. Culture Industries course, Jim uses Duke's Blackboard. If you have additional questions about USC, the courses, Los Angeles housing or transportation, or internships, contact Jim Thompson (jrt5 at duke.edu). If you have questions about financial matters, Duke transcripts, the application process, or special Duke network set-up for non-Duke students, consult the Duke in LA/NY Assistant Director, Paul Paparella, at 919-684-2174 or the Duke in LA/NY Staff Assistant, Miriam Vines, at 919-684-2110, both in the Duke University Global Education Office for Undergraduates.
