Solving the car problem
Not all students in the program have had the use of a car, but it sure helps as LA spread out. Some students have shipped cars fairly economically, others have driven across country or made arrangements with a California friend or relative to borrow a car. Still others have made carpool arrangements with fellow students. There is bus transportation available in LA, so it is possible to participate in the program without ready acess to a car.
